ADULTS

The adults in the congregation are interconnected as they work to sustain the ministry of the church through worship, committee ministry, and community life of the church. They also meet in several groups such as:

CHILDREN

Children from infancy through sixth grade are integrated into the life of the church through worship experiences and intergenerational events. They also engage in social activities with their peers once a month and several mission-oriented activities throughout the year.

Church School is provided on Sundays during the school year in age appropriate classes. The Church School curriculum uses a multi-disciplinary approach to learning in expectation that all children will engage in the lesson depending upon their style of learning.

Fire & Ice Camping
Youth from sixth grade and up along with any interested adults are invited to January's Fire and Ice Camping Trip. This is an annual event and a fabulous tradition of broomball, quinces, ice fishing, world domination of RISK and other great planned and unplanned activities. You don't want to miss this. Youth participating for the first time receive a 50% discount. Also, scholarships are available if needed. The cost is $90 for youth and $110 for adults.

YOUTH

Youth from seventh through twelfth grade are mentored to not only learn about God on Sundays in an age-appropriate Church School class, but are strongly encouraged to participate in leadership through worship, mission events, fund raising, committee work and helping with the children of the congregation. The youth meet once a month for social activities and/or mission projects. The youth of our congregation also participate in the wider faith community of the United Church of Christ by participating in the regional, state, and national events.

MUSIC

Music for your heart, soul, and spirit!
We pride ourselves on the variety of music we offer - from professionals to members of our congregation. Here are the opportunities for participation: The congregation of Clark Memorial United Church of Christ loves their music. They have a church choir, a children's choir, an organist and a contemporary band named "The Messengers." The worship music is regularly played through a variety of genres to blend the many interest of the congregation. Other musicians within the congregation are encouraged to share their talent either as a solo or an ensemble. The children and youth are no exception and usually are the highlights of the music program.
